--- Mechatronics engineer ---

They build complex mechatronic systems out of electrical and electronic components. Mechatronics engineers manufacture the individual components and mount them at systems and installations. They commission or program plants or install the corresponding software. Moreover, they service mechatronic systems or repair them.

• basic skills metal, manual material processing (filing, sawing, drilling, countersinking, tapping, reaming),
• automatic material processing (turning, milling, grinding, eroding),
• connection technologies, project work, programming of CNC machines
• basic skills in general electrical engineering (installation of electrical assemblies, measuring of electric values etc.), instrument engineering, programmable controls
• machine installation, plant engineering, instrument engineering
• Installation and testing of hardware and software components
• commissioning and servicing of mechatronic systems
